❓Does Oraichain generate revenue, and how much does it make?

A 0.01% fee will be charged on volume executed through the Quant Terminal. We currently process about $1M in quant trading volume each day, which means the product is already capable of generating revenue.

However, in the early stage, we have not charged this fee in order to encourage new users. At $100M in daily trading volume, we would generate approximately $10,000 per day in revenue.

❓When are buybacks likely to start?

Thirty percent of revenue will be used to buy back ORAI. Buybacks can begin once daily revenue reaches $1,000.

❓Will ORAI buybacks be programmatic and on-chain verifiable? Where will the community track them?

Buybacks will be on-chain and verifiable.

Once Quant Terminal fees are live and buybacks begin, we’ll share full details on how they’re executed and where the community can track them (e.g., the buyback transactions).

❓Besides buybacks, what direct ORAI utilities are tied to Terminal usage (fee discounts, access, payments)?

Besides buybacks, ORAI utility can expand as the Terminal scales. Examples we’re exploring include:
